Born on March 26, 1996, he was always surrounded by Circus, his restless and obsessive personality made him develop several disciplines such as acrobatics, acrobatic carrying and Chinese pole, but his specialty is juggling, when he juggles his eyes stop being those of a scatterbrained young man who is easily distracted and become precise, sagacious, like those of a detective who leaves nothing to chance.
NoNes is a circus-theatre company whose main language is object manipulation and physical theatre. With an absurd way of seeing the world, they captivate their audience. Who would have thought they both hold degrees in the Arts? Not that it matters much to them — they remain faithful defenders of the idea that nothing can threaten what’s real, continuing their constant satire of the truth.
Formed by Facundo Muñoz Trovo (Bachelor in Performing Arts with a focus on Circus – UNSAM) and Daniela Rocío Rabanal (Circus Arts Performer – UNTREF), the company was born in 2020 in Buenos Aires. Since its creation, they have traveled the world, performing their show in more than ten different countries.
BANG! is their first creation — and probably not their last — a street circus-theatre performance infused with humor, coming to life anew every time it happens.
It was a breeze in May 1990 that saw her birth, since she was a child she developed the skills of drawing and painting, with a smile in her hand and hope in her heart, she always searched until she found, and thus, she discovered the world of dance and later of the circus, worlds that today seek to intertwine. With a brutal sympathy...or rather, a very sympathetic brutality, she develops dance, acrobatics, hula hoop and drawing as part of the path to continue finding herself.
In a grotesque world that isn’t real yet somehow exists — where nothing is what it seems and everything is slightly distorted — “BANG!” emerges: a clever circus-theatre performance that blends humor, physical skill, and visual poetry. The connection between Robert and Dina creates a fascinating contrast that drives the narrative and captivates the audience from the very first moment.
“BANG!” invites us on a journey through the essential: every gesture, every laugh, every fall becomes a fragment of a story that, with both lightness and depth, reminds us that life itself is a grand stage — and that we are all artists of our own destiny. The piece moves fluidly between the absurd and the poetic, the everyday and the fantastic, weaving moments of magical realism with breathtaking circus artistry.
